Multi-hyphenate Bill Coleman is renowned for his diverse musical expertise as an artist manager, DJ, producer, remixer, music supervisor, performer, recording artist and writer. His company Peace Bisquit celebrates its 36th Year Anniversary in 2026.

The tireless “renaissance” native son known for his eclectic taste, acute ear and diverse musical expertise has enjoyed success as a revered music journalist and columnist (Billboard Magazine 1987-1990); has written for NYC style rag PAPER (Wasn’t Tomorrow Wonderful), sat on the initial editorial board for OUT Magazine ; freelanced as a commentator for numerous international media outlets such as the BBC, BET and has written numerous album package liner notes.

As the multi-hyphenate creative force behind Peace Bisquit, Coleman celebrates 36 years heading up the Brooklyn-based company having represented a striking array of genre-defying artists and producers over the years having collaborating with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Beyoncé, Lincoln Center, David Guetta, Nona Hendryx, Vanessa Williams, Ultra Naté, Cyndi Lauper, Bravo TV, Tiesto, Disney, The Red Hot Organization and New York City Ballet. Bill is often recognized for discovering, managing & executive producing the platinum selling trio Deee-Lite (“Groove Is In The Heart”) and their revered debut album, World Clique.

A roster of notable clients Bill has worked with includes : Bette Midler, Jody Watley, Sia, Madonna, RuPaul, Tom Tom Club, Radiohead, Paris Hilton, Sinead O'Connor, Dame Pat McGrath, Neneh Cherry, Christina Aguilera, Teyana Taylor, Keke Palmer, Billy Porter, Lizzo, Sofi Tukker, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Erasure, Arthur Baker, PETA, World Of Wonder and others. Bill has also soundtracked numerous venues over the years at MoMA, The Kennedy Center, Juilliard, Afropunk Festival (with Grace Jones!) and The New York Public Library for Performing Arts.

The last three decades of Peace Bisquit has seen the much in-demand maestro DJ, sound design or music supervise various acclaimed films (Party Girl, The Watermelon Woman, Beyond The Steps: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Brother To Brother, Inside Deep Throat, Party Monster), fashion shows (Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Marc Bouwer, DIFFA, Balmain and H&M), Broadway premieres (Cats : The Jellicle Ball, Tootsie, Evita, The Color Purple) and art installations (Deitch) in addition to legendary nightclubs (Cielo, CBGB's, Limelight, APT, Santos Party House, Ministry of Sound, SOB's, Sound Factory, The Tunnel, Save The Robots, Pyramid, The Shelter) and special events (Lady Gaga’s inaugural Fame Ball, Creative Cantral’s 25th Anniversary and 1000 Artists Benefit, amFAR's Inspiration Gala, Bowie Ball, Kering Foundation’s Caring For Women Dinner and many more).
